LEXUS HOVERBOARD

"IT'S JUST A MATTER OF
FIGURE OUT HOW"

Getting the glimpses from an American Science Friction adventure comedy film "Back to Future 2", LEXUX indulged in making a flying hoverboard a reality.

In 2014, California company Arx Pax tried to do the same by building "Hendo Hoverboard". But there all attempts went worthless.Hendo Hoverboard.

Now as concern about the specifications of the LEXUS Hoverboard, Its weight is 11.5 kg (including the magnets and liquid nitrogen). It has 32 superconductors with 50oz liquid nitrogen and its upper surface is made up of natural Bamboo, which gives the Hoverboard a classic look.
It has extremely strong magnets in the hoverboard and on the surface which helps it in levitation.

LEXUS revealed its invention, how it works and much more. It also has launched a You-Tube video for the same.

HOW THE HOVERBOARD ACTUALLY WORKS

Hoverboard is consists of metal alloy superconducting material which is cooled at 197 degree celsius using liquid nitrogen.
The track below the hoverboard have three magnets helping in inducing the current in the material. It leads to Meissner Effect in action.

MEISSNER EFFECT

It is the pushing away or expulsion of magnetic field from a surface conductor when it transists as superconductor from metal.
Meissner effect comes into play; take the hold; expel the magnetic field back towards the tracks in mirror image. On the same time, the magnetic force in opposite side oppose each other or repel each other. And the material or board gets lifted above the track.

The LEXUS Hoverboard actually works on this effect and makes the hoverboard to fly over the magnetic track.

When we put some weight on the hoverboard or someone put his leg on it, magnetic forces becomes so significant as to balance it and keep levitating the track. Hoverboard does not deviate horizontally or vertically but remain stable over the track.

  Huawei power-fi E8231.

Here we are back with an interesting gadget that will surely satisfy your craving for internet speed.
Not every one has access to high-speed broadband or 3g/4g data not just because of poor connectivity but also because of their high charges for data and the data limits that is attached to it.
Some of us might be using their phones hotspot to access internet on their other devices. Well it’s a great idea, actually it just sounds great but if you calculate the data and the bandwidth you have been wasting you’ll be amazed to know that you were yourself burning a hole in your pockets.

See the mobile hotspots are just for emergency alternative they cannot be chosen and a permanent mode to connect. In my suggestion you should be using a good dongle/net-setter if you want to save money and data.

We have come-up with one such dongle that is amazing at the price point, the Huawei power-fi E8231.

The device is a wifi dongle so you can just plug it in a USB power adapter or a USB charger to create a wifi hotspots around you. The device can also be connected to a laptop or a supporting tablet and you’ll still get wifi zone, so in this way you can connect multiple devices all together.

The device has many offerings and promises that it makes and has surely stood true on them.
we’ll analyse the product on various aspects lets start from

The build quality
The product has a decent quality actually i should say good quality. The feel of the dongle might be disappointing for some of us who don’t like mat finished things. But for me the product seems greats as no gloss in the product keeps the dongle look neat and clean for a longer time.

The connectivity
The device has great connectivity which supports 10devices through wifi, the internet speed may vary according to the connected devices and the usage per device. The interconnectivity offered by the device is great. the dongle promises a 3G connectivity speed of 21.5 mbps

The freedom
The device gives the freedom to choose any mobile operator for internet service as the device is unlocked by the factory. Hence the user can choose the any operator according to the area where they are.

The actual test
We tested the device in the actual condition using a 2g network connection. And it was no surprise the internet speed was doubled up in comparison to the net speed on mobile hotspots on on the same mobile network sim card. We used a 2g unlimited data plan and we got every single bit of data consumed.

If you have smart-phone with you you can download the HUAWEI app to manage your messages and data consumptions using the app. Believe me the app is great with in all aspects the design, the performance all rounder app!!

Final verdict

Stop reading this go ahead buy it! you'll not be disappointed. the dongle with stands all the promises it does.

Shut down!!

Li-Fi

Starting from the wired connections like twisted pair of cable, Co-axial cable,Ethernet & fiber optics to wireless modes of connections like infrared, bluetooth, microwaves & the most conventional and common medium of connection these days our lovely “wi-fi” (wireless fidelity). Technology gives us various modes to connect and to interact.

To add up to the modes of connection there is a new friend popularly known as “li-fi” which stands for light fidelity, yes!! you got it right Light fidelity. As the name suggests light fidelity, this tech. Uses wavelenght of light to transmit signals over devices or to a device (in whichever manner it’s been used). it’s quiet obvious that its is faster than wifi because it uses light to transmit signal (and according to my limited knowledge there is barely anything that is faster than light).

People around must be wondering how this light works?, what are the expensed related to it?, how fast it is? How much is the financial input one has to put to get it?, and most importantly “Is it really worth??”.

One stop for all your queries regarding lifi, but first-of-all let me tell you how this lightening bolt technology works.

Well by the name it is very much clear that it uses light to transmits data but, the next question is how?
Well,it basically plays with the wavelength of light to transmit data which is but modulating the wavelength of visible light. Every minute variation in the wavelength is a signal that is transmitted to the receiver on the other end. The use of visible light makes it much more easier to use. The changes in wavelength is not such that can be noticed by naked eye or could be felt anyhow as our eyes are not that much responsive to the changes in the intensity of light.

Now lets talk about the components a lifi system has. Just like the conventional wifi system, lifi also has a signal transmitter, receiver, and a medium thorough which the signal will travel.
In case of lifi

1. The signal transmitter is give the form of a led light that can be given any fancy form, like the ones we have in our homes these days. The creators of lifi choose led to transmit signal perhaps because modulating light is much more easy and effective in leds as they withstand various potential difference changes. As i already mentioned that the variation is not such that can be noticed easily so the computers
of the led system codes the message to a wavelength form which is decoded but the receiver on the other end.

2. The medium in case of lifi is not that important as light is assumed to be its own master(apparently after emission) because light travels in all direction and does not require any medium to travel.

3. The receiver on the other end is a kind of solar-panel that receives the signal in form of light and as we all know the solar-panel converts the light energy to the electrical energy which is further transmitted through wires and cables to the computing device.

We all use light in one form or other and for one or many purpose, but the most common use is lightning up the surroundings. And in today’s scenario almost everyone has wifi connection (whether it be in form of mobile hotsopt or the high speed broadband connection), which requires a different electricity connection and also emits certain radiations too that is not much acceptable by the human body.
Now imagine combining your led lighting with your modem without any extra energy consumption and without any radiation to harm you.

LANEY LX10 Guitar Amplifier Review

Hi there folks, if you're reading this then you're probably a beginner or an intermediate guitarist looking for a compact practice amplifier.

The amplifier reads at the back that it is British Engineered and designed by Laney in the UK, and, manufactured in China. There are not many videos about the review of this amplifier on Youtube so it can be a little bit confusing whether to buy the amp or not. Below you can find each and everything about the amplifier. This review is specially written for Beginners in Electric Guitars.

Build Quality/Looks -The amplifier looks sturdy and the build quality is quite good. So this eliminates the chance of breakage or cracks if it falls from a moderate height. It had fallen accidentally while jamming and fortunately it didn't break. It fell once again sometime later and luckily no damage this time too. So, the amp can handle a little bit of carelessness easily. About the handle provided on the top, it looks tough but cannot be pulled up and carried by a hand. One can barely slide 2-3 fingers under the handle. The amplifier is very compact and light as compared to other amps of same price range. 9/10

Sound - Okay, about the real thing now. The amplifier has two output channels (Clean and Overdrive). The amp is loud enough for someone jamming in a room alone. The clean channel is pretty good with no buzz or static. It's pretty satisfying for the price. Now over to the distortion. The overdrive channel is kinda average. The sound becomes really loud when Overdrive is switched on. The distortion feels a little bit lazily adjusted. There is a slight buzz and static problem with this channel. The Bass and Treble knobs help when the sound is distorted but to a limited extent. The Headphone In jack gives a pretty good sound with overdrive as compared to the speaker. There is also an Aux In jack so that you can play and jam with the songs at the same time. 6/10

Overall/Comments - The amplifier is kinda satisfying for its price. If you're a beginner guitarist looking forward to buy your first amplifier then I personally recommend you not to buy this one, Why? Because most of the beginner guitarists want to play Metallica/Megadeth/ACDC/Slayer with those distortion effects but keep in mind that the Heavy Metal, and related genre bands generally use Gain distortion and NOT OVERDRIVE(overdrive is also used but not as much). There is a huge difference between Gain and Overdrive. This amplifier is made for clean effects and is RECOMMENDED FOR those who play JAZZ or COUNTRY style music. Beginner guitarists who want to play those Master of Puppets and Creeping Death riffs should go for some other amplifier with controllable gain distortion effect. You can play the same riffs with Overdrive distortion as well but the distorted sound wont be as pleasing as when Gain Distortion is used. Songs like Monster (by Skillet) can be played using this amp. Choose accordingly.
